Las Vegas by Karen

Sorry I missed yesterday.... we'll go with the holiday excuse (and not the I forgot all about it excuse which is more than likely the truth).

Today, we have a page from Karen featuring her trip to Las Vegas and mini-reunion with some old friends.  Being from Las Vegas, it made me a little nostalgic.  And the fact that I love her simple design doesn't hurt, either.  :)  Everyone in this group has a special talent and Karen's is definitely her use of alphabet stickers.  Have a great day!

BTW, I am trying to get product lists for the pages I post.  If you are looking for something in particular,  please feel free to email me.

Hairwrap by Ramona

This is Ramona's sweet daughter, Natalie.  I love the random placement of the flowers with that cute photo.   Have a great weekend!

8Y Birthday by Jen S

Reflecting on previous birthdays, Jen decided to go back to her eighth birthday for this layout.   My favorite thing about Jen's pages is all of the neat little details she includes.  This photo brings back memories, doesn't it?  Good times for sure.

These 2 Kids by Leslie

This is another sketch challenge page.  Unfortunately, I do not remember where the sketch came from so I'll post it if I find out.  The great thing about this sketch is the photo placement... this is the perfect arrangement for a 3 picture layout, especially with two adorable subjects.

Mother's Day Card by Sam

Another great use for sketches is to make cards.  Sam used the sketch posted yesterday to make this Mother's Day card.  I always love black accents with bright colors and I forget how  much I love handmade cards until I see them.

Family (Disneyland) by Jen M

Last weekend, when we were all trying to find some inspiration to scrapbook, Karen challenged us with sketch 73 from the Sketch This blog.  I find that sketches are very inspiring because I have a hard time deciding on products and layout design (especially after a 10 month sabbatical).  I really wanted to do something with this photo which was taken right before Christmas when Lance, the boys and I met up with my mom, aunt, sister and cousin and their families for a weekend trip to Disneyland.  As you can imagine, we had a great time.  And I owe a thanks to Karen for the button placement idea for the "Mickey ears".  She did this years ago and I have always wanted to use it on a page of my own.

Snow Day by Libby

Another exciting event that occurred last year was the beginning of Libby's new career as a digital designer for Sweet Shoppe Designs.  She has a store with tons of amazing product.  This layout features one of my favorite lines, Hibernation Day.  If you are interested in digital scrapbooking products, be sure to check out her store!

Annie - 2008 by Dianne

If you have been thinking about summing up the year in review, here is all the inspiration you need.  Dianne created this masterpiece, recapping Annie's last year.  How can you not love the pink and all of the attention to detail.  Perfection.

Guitar Lessons by Cheryl

What can I say?  Everything Cheryl does is magic.  I don't think simple could possibly look any better.
