Welcome to Dugout Designs by Jen. My name is Jennifer Miller and I currently have 3 boys playing in the Humble Baseball league. My husband, Lance, and I have enjoyed being a part of HBA for the last 4 years and getting to know many of you in the process.
One thing we have really enjoyed over the years is collecting dugout signs for each of the boys. If you have been in the league for awhile, you know that dugout signs are a time honored tradition among our teams. They make great keepsakes for the players at the end of the season while providing a service to all of the parents and devoted fans. When our little guys get dressed in uniform, the only thing we have to differentiate between them is a number. The dugout signs help us to recognize and get to know each player.
I have purchased a lot of signs in the past and I decided that it was time to branch out and start making my own, focusing on quality construction and attention to detail. I am a scrapbooker by nature and I have had 100+ projects published in a variety of magazines as a freelance designer. By combining the art of scrapbooking with digital design, I have developed a product that I think will be appreciated in the competitive youth baseball market.
Each wooden sign is hand painted in team colors to coordinate with a custom graphic design, complete with team logo, player name and number. A hook will be attached to the top of each sign for hanging. Signs measure approximately 7-1/4"x8" and cost $10.00 each. All teams in the league will be available.
While I will be offering a limited number of designs at first, I hope to offer some variations in the future. If you are looking for something in particular, please feel free to contact me. I am always open to new projects and ideas.
If you are looking to order signs for the fall season, please contact me ASAP. I will need a team name and roster immediately and numbers can be provided once uniforms are distributed. While I will do my best to have all signs ready for the first day of the season, they will be completed in the order they are received.
(Check back later in the season for more photos. The photo pictured above represents the product but not the quality.)
