The Bulldogs had a rocky start in game one of the 300 Point Global NIT at the Scrap Yard, giving up 5 runs in the first inning. They gave up one more in the second inning but turned up the heat and kept fighting. Down one run in the last inning of the game, they were able to come back to win it with a two run double by Antonio Forero. In the second game, they came out ready to play! After walking the bases loaded, Joey Burgess came up with a Grand Slam. Two batters later, Jacobe blasted one over the fence for his first out of the park home run. Their efforts lead the Bulldogs to a decisive 11-6 victory and 2-0 for the day. This is their last regular season tournament before World Series and they are hoping to come home with another Father's Day trophy. Great job boys!
